Out XC skiing at Borderland. I went in the Bay Circuit Trail entrance. No one had been there since the snowstorm last weekend... well except the deer. There were tracks everywhere. I saw two deer bounding through the woods.
This blog is being created to follow the progress of the "Discovering Nature" series of explorations being offered by the Southeastern Massachusetts Chapter of the Appalachian Mountain Club this year. It will report on our weekly observations, and track our progress as amateur naturalists. While primarily intended for participants, others are welcome to read and learn.
